Flagler Beach has a lively, relaxed entertainment scene that mixes beach vibes, local music, art, and community, like the Hang 8 Dog Surfing Contest. First Fridays at Veterans Park

Free and open to the public, the First Friday event is a relaxed way to enjoy an evening outdoors in the downtown Flagler Beach area every first Friday of the month.  Entertainment varies each month, and there are a variety of food vendors, craft vendors and activities for kids. Palm Coast Strawberry Festival

Typically held in February, the festival features family fun, amusements for kids, Arts and Crafts, Strawberries, a pie-eating contest, monster truck rides, axe-throwing, beer and wine, live music, and more. Warbirds Over Flagler

Warbirds Over Flagler with SkyGlow Drone Show is held in March. This event features music, Warbird Parade flybys, and Aircraft demonstrations. The cost is $5 per car, plus $20 for the optional evening drone show. Visit the Website for dates and times.

Hang 8 Dog Surfing Competition

Hang 8 is a dog surfing extravaganza held in May. At this family-friendly event, dogs (and some human/dog tandems) surf small waves, there’s a costume contest, vendors, and fun pet-friendly activities. It benefits local dog and animal charities: specifically K9s for Warriors, Flagler Humane Society, and S.M.A.R.T. of Flagler County (Saving Missing Animals Response Team).  Visit the website for exact dates and times for this event.

United Flagler Fourth

Creekside Music & Arts Festival

The Creekside Music & Arts Festival is a fall tradition held over two days at Princess Place Preserve in early October.  It features live music on a main stage, covering styles such as country, bluegrass, rock, and classic hits, with lineup variations each day. Flagler Beach Christmas & “Holiday at the Beach” Parade

One of the standout moments in this December event is when Santa lands by parachute (skydiving Santa) onto the beach to kick off the parade. After landing, Santa sometimes proceeds via a fire truck (or similar) as part of the procession. The parade includes a mix of floats, marching bands, community organizations, dance groups, holiday characters, decorated vehicles (cars, golf carts, etc.), and more.  Visit the Website for exact dates and times.

Palm Coast Holiday Boat Parade

Organized by the Palm Coast Yacht Club, in cooperation with the City of Palm Coast. It’s an annual holiday event in Palm Coast and is held the second week of December, featuring decorated and lighted boats parading down the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW). Boats of many sizes (yachts, smaller vessels) are decorated with holiday lights and themed decorations so spectators on shore can enjoy a festive nighttime display reflected on the water.  Visit the Website for more information.
